P&G™ Purifier of Water product is a powdered water clarification and disinfectant that comes in small, 4-gram packets. Using some of the same ingredients used in municipal water systems, P&G™ Purifier of Water is engineered to be a mini-water treatment plant in a packet.
The product removes dirt, cysts, and pollutants, and kills bacteria and viruses in contaminated water. By removing the dirt and sediment through a flocculation process, P&G™ Purifier of Water gives a visible signal that water is clean and ready to drink.
P&G™ Purifier of Water packets are used with the DayOne Waterbag supplied by DayOne Response™, or by buckets/stirring spoon/filter cloth (sold separately).
Each P&G™ packet contains iron sulfate, calcium hypochlorite, a buffer to maintain pH and a polymer to promote coagulation. It is approved for use by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Each P&G™ Purifier of Water packet is stable for 3 years from date of manufacture.
The P&G™ Purifier of Water packets are manufactured by Procter & Gamble (P&G™) and available worldwide. Please visit P&G’s Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program’s website for more information on their international work. http://www.csdw.org/
