After the magnitude-7.8 devastating earthquake shook Nepal on April 25, survivors are now left to endure the aftermath. According to reports, there are currently over 5,000 causalities and over 10,000 injured from the earthquake. 500,000 tents are now needed for those who are homeless due to the destruction of their homes and communities. Nepal is short on basic life necessities including safe drinking water, food supply, as well as other basic provisions. Hundreds of organizations are sending supplies to help with the disaster relief, including DayOne Response. DayOne Response is sending water purification bags and P&G Purifier of Water treatment packets to Nepal to aid in the disaster relief to ensure survivors have clean drinking water. To date, DayOne Response has sent 64,800 liters for Nepal and will continue to increase our efforts over the upcoming months. Our water purification bags being sent to Nepal to help with disaster relief efforts ensure that families have 10 liters of water free from bacteria, viruses, cysts, dirt, soil, sediment, pollutants, and arsenic. Think of how many lives you can help save by sponsoring a water bag today. When you sponsor a water purification bag for Nepal, you are directly helping children and their families have access to clean drinking water which in times of disaster is scarce. Please consider sponsoring a DayOne Waterbag for Nepal Relief Efforts today here: http://bit.ly/1EknXpz. If you are unable to sponsor one, please share our mission with people you know who may be interested in sponsoring. Every liter of water donated could mean a life saved.
